The original name was Jiangsu Taxes Instrument Electrics Co., Ltd., which was the first manufacturing center established by Sensata in China. In 2006, it was renamed Sensata Technologies (Baoying) Co., Ltd. Now the company is Sensata’s largest production base of thermal protector products in Asia, with over 1500 employees. Sensata Baoying receives many honors from local government such as Yangzhou Top Contributor Enterprise, Best Employer etc. Sensata Baoying has won the Best Quality Supplier Award from important customers for many years as a result of its focus on LEAN manufacturing to improve productivity and quality performance.
