Requirements:

1. Must have engineering background in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent industry;

2. Have knowledge in requirements and technical specifications of electronic products, preferably the knowledge in lighting products such as LED lighting, Controls and Power Supplies;

3. Experience in Electronic products running/testing, any experience in optical design or testing is preferred;

4. Previous experience with compliance testing and understanding of the safety & EMC requirements of electronic products to comply with UL & CE standards will be highly regarded;

5. Familiar with testing methodologies and skilled in the using of Integrating Sphere, Spectrometer, Power meter, AC/DC Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Multi-meters, Infrared Camera and some other relevant equipments used in laboratory;

6. Ability to read product specification and create testing setups or plans for products testing, verification and validation;

7. Reading testing specifications and generating test report in English is also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Working in the R&D department and cooperating with Design Engineers and Project Management to provide support in relevant testing and verification, as well as help improving the product functionality, reliability and quality during the development of new products, or modification of existing products;

2. Carry out the performance testing and design verification on lighting products of new development or existing products against specifications, requirements and standards;

3. Test and evaluate the samples, prototypes and new design products;

4. Make testing plans, set up test equipments and conduct testing independently in the laboratory according to testing procedures;

5. Record test result, complete test datasheet and create the test report in English;

6. Propose improvement solutions regarding testing methods;

7. Ensure proper maintenance of test equipments, will be also responsible for the calibration of equipments when needed

Education:

Bachelor degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Optics related major with at least 3 years work experience.

Language Skills:

Must have sufficient skills in written and spoken English having achieved a minimum of CET4 level with CET6 preferred.
