OVERALL PURPOSE/SUMMARY: Sourcing & Compliance Engineer primary responsibilities consist of assisting the new factories sourcing, coordinating and managing our audit schedule to our new and existing factories, implementing onsite audits to the allocated factories, completing and updating all sourcing & qualification documents into our system, following up the setting up process of new factories, tracking correction status with each factory until all issues are corrected, and coordinate the 3rd party audit to factories.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sourcing:
-Assist sourcing new factories basing on company sourcing initiative and requirement, and follow up any outstanding factories;
-Log and manage the new source list in the system;
Sourcing & compliance schedule:
-Make and update the sourcing plan basing on company sourcing strategy.
-Coordinate and manage BGI certification process to all new sources.
-Coordinate and manage BGI audit schedule to all existing factories.
Onsite audit:
-Have onsite audit to the new and existing factories basing on company standard.
-Finish all the required audit reports on time.
Sourcing & compliance documents:
-Send the approved audit report to each factory on time.
-Update and keep all qualification documents of each factory in the system.
-Log and update the audit status of all new factories in the system timely.
-Log and maintain the compliance status of all existing factories.
3rd party audit:
-Coordinate the 3rd party audit to our main factories.
-Assist and train our factory to take the 3rd party audit if necessary.
CAP plan:
-Send audit result report to all new and existing factories on time once they are approved.
-Issue CAP to the approved and conditional accepted new factories and existing factories together with audit result report, and request factories to finish and return CAP on time
-Closely follow up the correction status of each factory basing on BGI CAP plan.
Follow-up audit:
-Coordinate and manage the follow-up audit to new and existing factories;
-Have follow-up audit to factories basing on the first audit result and company process
Follow up new approved factories:
-Monitor the follow-up process with a check list to each approved new factory.
-Take the resourcing initiative to the item level for detailed follow-up and execution.
General administrative and reporting:
-Coordinate and manage audits schedule to new and existing factories upon request.
-Log and manage the new source status report.
-Log and update the compliance status report of all existing factories.
-Maintain the CAP status report.
-Manage all the qualification documents of new and existing factories into the system.
-Prepare expense reports and maintain receipt for reporting.
-Coordinate and follow up the audit report with the 3rd party and main factories.
