职位描述：
We are looking for a workspace designer, an architect or interior designer with an interest in workspaces, to join us on our journey to re-shaping the furniture industry. The role will report Opendesk China’s Design Director.

Key responsibilities
* Support B2B (office) furniture sales / Jobs by assisting the sales & production teams.
* Customizing Opendesk ‘Design Library’ furniture to client needs where needed.
* Assist in developing new product designs as needed for workspace sector (as per the product development plan).
* Help to establish Opendesk as an innovator in workspace design in the industry; consult/advise clients on their workspace planning
* Support the development of 3rd party designs (and/or research local materials and production where relevant).
* support and promote the Opendesk Open Making concept through events / competitions / activities in line with our marketing plan.
* Help standardise and professionalise all practices in our young company

*根据我们的营销计划，通过举办各类活动和比赛来支持和推广Opendesk开放式制作的理念。

Experience:
* >2 years’ experience as an architect and/or interior designer with relevant materials and products.
* Experience in (or a strong affiliation with) digital fabrication and/or the maker movement.
* International exposure and cross-cultural awareness beneficial.
*2年以上与材料或产品有关的建筑或室内设计师工作经验
*在数字生产经验和/或制造的活动有经验（或有密切关系）。
*具国际经验和跨文化认知。

Skills/attributes:
* Fluent (or ability to quickly become fluent) with key design software tools in use at Opendesk: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Rhino, Sketchup and the Adobe Suite. Visualization / rendering capabilities would be beneficial.
* Good communicator in (Mandarin) Chinese and English.
* Enjoys the challenge of a highly valued role in a fast-paced startup environment. (requires being comfortable with uncertainty and self-managing tasks - significant freedom and responsibility will be given but high performance expected!).
* Self-motived, very high drive but also a strong team player (within the China team but also with colleagues/partners abroad).
* A very naturally high attention to detail.

*熟练掌握（或有能力快速掌握）Opendesk正在使用的主要设计软件：AutoCAD，Autodesk Inventor，Rhino, Sketchup and the Adobe Suite，较强的可视化/渲染能力具有优势。

*在快节奏的创业公司环境中享受重要工作角色带来的挑战。 （要求能胜任不确定性和需自我管理的任务——受任巨大的自由和责任，但期待高业绩的成果）。

* University level education required in architecture and/or interior design from a reputable institution / top university

We are ready to grow, and have recently established a Chinese business under the Opendesk开桌brand. We intend to develop furniture sales in our traditional office furniture segment but also develop the Opendesk 开桌 brand to bring it to a wider audience.

We have established a relationship with Douban.com, and in line with the DNA of our brand, we will seek to use this as a channel for content marketing. This will help to build our design-led brand through stories and content around design, furniture, fabrication and craftsmanship in a way that entertains, educates and inspires people to develop themselves. We also plan to use this as a sales channel to consumers – this will be developed during 2017.
