An European Famous Brand was founded by Beat Grüring and Tally Elfassi-Weijl in 1984 in Lohn, Switzerland. It initially started out as a hobby which they took up parallel to their studies. They sold a newer and faster sort of collection to Swiss fashion boutiques. In doing so, they realized soon that there was a market gap within this industry for attractive fashion. As a result, they started to realize their own concept of “sexy fashion”. At that time they already designed 12 collections a year, a collection per month, and all this in a 50m2 garage.
