职位描述

As SSD Firmware Verification Design Engineer (固件测试工程师/嵌入式软件测试工程师), you will work with anexceptionally talented core team based in Shanghai, to test and verifycontroller firmware for NAND-based mass storage solutions in the consumer andenterprise segments. You will also have the opportunity to work closely withfellow US based firmware engineers, system hardware design engineers, productengineers, and Flash memory design engineers, to solve cross-functional designissues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the architecture,hardware and firmware development teams to gain a full understanding of thedesigns and operating scenarios through which you will develop test plans tovalidate the quality of the firmware deliverables

  • Firmware verification testdevelopment (Design, coding, and bug fix), maintenance, execution and issueanalysis

  • Support Firmware and Hardware teamto debug, narrow down, and reproduce issues for bug fix

  • Youwill develop tools and seek new methods to improve test process and efficiency

  • Maintain and create test designdocs

  • Provide support and requirementsto test execution and test automation teams

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in ComputerScience or Electronic Engineering or equivalent

  • Solid software program skill, andhas enthusiasm for coding and skill of Python or C/C++language

  • Troubleshooting skills and skillto present the findings accurately and concisely in an organized way

  • Good communication and team workspirit

  • Ability to handle short-noticeneeds/requests

  • English language skill in writingand speaking

  • Experience with lab machines is aplus, including meter, Logic Analyzer, scope, protocol (SAS/SATA/PCIE/USB/I2C)Analyzer

  • Familiar with firmware developmentis a plus

  • Knowledge of storage (Flash, SSD, storagecontroller, and storage protocols (FC/SAS/SATA/PCIE)) is value-add

  • Abilityto present at duty 3-5 days per week
