As a SSD ASIC Design VerificationEngineer (Intern) at Micron, you will part of a team that develops leading edgeSystem on Chip solutions for Micron.  You will be part of a team that isdriving innovation into next generation solid state memory controllers and theresulting storage and server products. We will assign dedicated mentor andprovide trainings for you to pick up the job quickly.

Your responsibility will include, but notlimited to, the following:

• Understanding designspecification and creating verification plan and test plan accordingly

• Creating test bench andtest cases for SSD controller blocks and system

• Debug failure cases andfigure out the root causes, and work with designers to fix and verify bugs

• Achieving coverage goalsbefore tape-out

• Gate simulation, timingverification and power-aware simulation

Successfulcandidates for these position will have: 

• Graduate students, electronicengineering and computer science related majors

• Excellent programmingskills on C, C++, Verilog, or System Verilog and etc.

• Good potential andwilling to embrace new technical challenges

• Experience in scriptprogramming(Perl/Python/Makefile/Shell and etc.) would be a plus

• Experience in designingcomplex digital hardware systems and developing hardware architectures for algorithmimplementation would be a plus

• The ability to be a teamplayer, self-starter flexible, communicate well and understand what ittakes to get the job done.

• Excellent English written,verbal and presentation skills.
