KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Working under the direction of team leader / senior engineer to specify, develop, test, integrate and software products
· Delivery of product components on schedule and to agreed quality.
· Working with the project managers and Validation team on defect prioritization and resolution
· Report to Team Leader and Project Manager on progress and areas of technical responsibility
· Preparation of relevant design / maintenance and user documentation
· Work on test and validation activities as required
· Work on integration activities as required.
· Continual Improvement of development processes and quality

RESQUIREMENTS

Essential Skills

· Thorough experience developing in J2EE, be familiar with at least one application server (Tomcat / Resin / Weblogic / JBoss)

· Additionally either Formal training or hands on experience in multi-threaded programming, network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and XML, relational databases (SQL), and web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) required.

· Experience in development under Linux / Unix system

· Familiar with at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, etc)

· Excellent debugging skills

· Team player and good communication skill

Desirable Skills

· Experience in Multisite development environments

· Experience in Agile Scrum development teams

· Experience in test-driven development
