Job Functions:
Within a five member team, participation and / or handling of IT Tasks, bring in expertise on some of them:
? Participate and/or handle IT projects, such as cost reduction, or Active Directory move to the cloud, etc.
? Network and Server Infrastructure: security, service monitoring, design, supervision, support, maintenance and service optimisation
? AWS hosting: monitoring cost control, support and maintenance
? Provide support to end users (global presence) and remote offices in IT Service Desk with respect to the SLA:
o User access
o Standard issues including hardware issues
Requirements:
? Able to communicate in English, both spoken and in writing;
? 5 or more years of working experience as IT engineer, among which 2 as senior engineer.
? 3 or more years of working experience as IT support or System Administrator or other support area or functions;
? Has fundamental understanding and experience in Cloud hosted solutions, AWS preferred.
? Has fundamental understanding on various Operating Systems, i.e. Linux, Windows 7 to 10, Mac OS, Windows Server 2003 to 2012, etc. LPI, MCSE or other types of certifications are preferred;
? Has good Networking knowledge preferably to Cisco CCNP level including routing, switching, wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs and troubleshooting (LANs, wLANs, WANs and MANs).
? Has enterprise level Infrastructure knowledge with Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware and SAN technology
? Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine, document and resolve problems experienced;
? Able to provide troubleshooting for hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, servers and networking devices.
? Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions.
? Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
? Passionate and patient in working environment; Show the ability to learn new things quickly.
? Proactive approach to problem solving.
? Able to work effectively under pressure.
? Highly motivated with customer service mentality.
