Job Responsibilities:
*Maintains portfolio performance, manages product lifecycle, pruning, pricing, product data, technical support to markets
*Defines customer insights, business cases, product development, in coordination with markets
*Translates business opportunities into business market combination
*Defines offer value propositions leveraging customer and market insights to deliver a rich customer experience
*Takes responsibility for product line strategies. Works with all key stakeholders to develop, maintain, and effectively deploy regional product line strategies. Documents the current and near-term product line platforms and transition plans. Ensures that the product line platforms support the brand strategies and region business plan objectives. Takes the responsibility to align the region product line with the Global Product Menu with a minimum of unique regional products. Champions work with the Region and Global teams to improve product line sales volume, revenue, and margin information and reporting
*Responsible for active management of regional product line to minimize complexity. Works through the Product Portfolio Management (PPM) process with all stakeholders (including Lubricants motor oil, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Alliance Work Teams) to develop new and changed products aligned with Brand strategy, consistent with market segment strategy, support the region business plan, and achieve target product/service positioning, sales volume and margin. Works with all stakeholders to ensure that the product line is supported by the highest priority OEM endorsements, recommendations, and approvals
*Ensures optimum product offering – balancing the requirement to meet customer needs with the necessity to manage complexity. Supports the use of PPM to efficiently delete products identified by the region complexity reduction teams as having low strategic value and limited current profitability. Effectively supports complexity reduction initiatives – reducing the number of non-strategic, low-profit, slow-movers tends to reduce package inventories of both finished products and additives, which reduces working capital
*Maintains a strong working relationship with regional Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain. Actively involved in regional change management related to product line changes. Conduct regional product line councils
*Works with global additive alliance suppliers to optimize the product line offering and maximize the benefits extracted from the global additive alliance relationships
*Works with all stakeholders to ensure that product customer benefits, differentiated performance, and architecture are understood and effectively deployed
Job Requirements:
*At least Bachelor’s degree holder preferably Marketing, Business or other related field
*At least 5 years' experience in after car market with experience in lube business is a must
*Familiar with channel structure and price strategy in Lube industry
*Innovative thinking and customer focus with entrepreneurial spirit
*Drives cross functional collaboration, strategic focus and organization agility
*Establishes a winning spirit, embedding company culture within whole team
*Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral to liaise with customers and counterparts
