• Job Summary:

1. To assist Vice President-China Operations to govern the Rooms and F&B function and operation of all RHI China Hotels;
2. Be technical savvy, keep close watch on market trends and update concern parties in a timely manner;
3. Be political savvy, act as liason with Group Operations, Owner, other function heads, hotel GMs and Head of Rooms and F&B;

Basic Duties:

1. Report directly to the Vice President-China Operations for assignments and instructions, coordinate functions and activities with other function heads in Regional Office;
2. To ensure RHI brand Standard and its updates are timely cascaded and properly implemented in the hotels;
3. Reinforce RHI standards and systems and at the same time, take lead to develop and enhance service level and products that are suitable in China;
4. Based on RHI prescribed standards, set benchmark and performance levels with competitor sets to continue raising the performance;
5. Monitor and supervise the hotels function and activities through inspections, reporting and visits;
6. Audit, analyze the hotels’ operational process and standards established; guide and assist China Hotels to define the most efficient and cost effective ways to ensure smooth operation, maintain high ratio of customer satisfaction and meet and/or exceed the financial goal; whereas personal presence on spot outside Shanghai is needed;
7. Host function meetings with China Hotels’ Head of Rooms and Head of F&B on regular basis to ensure the timely communication and constant sharing on best practice among team members;
8. Conduct induction and familiarization training to new hire China Hotels’ Head of Rooms and Head of F&B. Coach the China Hotels’ Head of Rooms or Head of F&B on technical issues and people management;
9. Organize/lead the China region-wide promotion activities, sales/marketing programs and follow up the progress and results to ensure those comply with the prescribed methods and standards;
10. Manage in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations;

• Basic Requirements:
  
  1. Experience:
• 10 years’ of hotel management experience.
• Corporate experience in international brand is preferable but not compulsory.
  

• Higher Diploma holder in Hotel Management.
• Degree holder in Hotel Management is preferred.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Computer: proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Good leadership skill.
• Good analytical skill.

• Friendly and outgoing.

• Detail-oriented.
• With strong business acumen.
• Flexible, Creative, Productive, Decisive and Result-oriented.
