Key Responsibilities: |
· Design, development and timely delivery of high quality and innovative code from ground up. · Team leadership and guidance for Maintenance and Support staff · Ability to work in and across team settings with Business Analysts and other development peers to analyze and design solutions. · Contribute to feature discussions, design reviews and code reviews. · Promote and adhere to coding practices designed to promote code reuse and standardization. · Design and develop within compliance with corporate security and privacy policies. · Identify risks and mitigation strategies. · Communicate effectively with other disciplines of the project team. · Engagement with the other XXX IT groups to contribute to feature discussions, design, code reviews and performance engineering of solutions. · Set engineering excellence standards and best practices to advance the development discipline.

Key Skills |
· 5+ years of experience developing software for operating systems, hosted applications, distributed systems, scalable web services/applications, service oriented solutions, and/or *aaS (software, platform, data, or infrastructure as-a-service) · Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire product development cycle: from design, implementation, and debugging, to shipping and maintenance. · Preferred and proven experience in the ongoing integration of Support and QA requirements, metrics and processes within the entire product life cycle · A proven track record of designing & shipping features in addition to handling project management aspects of a product release · Strong analysis and problem solving, algorithm development, code implementation and debugging skills, as well as the ability to pragmatically and appropriately apply these skills to the task of developing and shipping software · Demonstrated track record of rapid ramp-up in new technical domains with a proven ability to independently research and develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems · Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a small, multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment · Experience with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as: Waterfall, RUP, SCRUM, or other agile methodologies. · Experience in varied roles within the Software Development Life Cycle e.g., Requirements gathering, development, test and application deployment, training and support. Of particular interest are development experience and use case / requirements gathering experience. · Passion for product quality and excellence in software engineering · Strong knowledge of build processes and environments · Knowledge of Source Control systems · Technically proficient and current with the following technologies: o C# and/or C/C++/Java development skills o javascript, ASP, AJAX, Crystal Reports, VBA and COM+ o SOAP / Web Services, and/or SQL Server o Database design tools such as Visio, Rational Rose o Development environments, Frameworks, Deployment and rollout o .NET platform and related technologies e.g SharePoint, Silverlight and Visual Studio 2010
· Functional Skills o Passion for quality and attention to details o The ability to take a broad view of the systems development as a whole o Strong spirit of innovation, self-starter, independent, and with ability to come up with solutions to meet business problems o The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently. o The ability to manage individuals and provide team leadership
