职位描述

Overall Responsibility/工作概述:

1.To direct and to control all financial matters relating to Reed Exhibition (RX) and those subsidiaries, JVs & representatives offices in the Region so that actions taken allow the Region to operate in the most efficient, cost effective and profitable manner and so that all statutory, legal and corporate requirements are met
2.To participate in the management and contribute to the overall profitability and long-term development of the Region
3.To participate in the strategic and business planning of the Region

Scope of Responsibility/工作职责:

1.Set-up, direct and control the Finance function of the region such that
2.The accounts of companies in the Region give a true and fair view of its financial position
3.The financial information of companies in the Region complies with all statutory and fiscal requirements and all specified requirements of Corporate, HQ and Governmental agencies
4.Appropriate and accurate management information is available to the company Board and to HQ on a timely basis
5.Appropriate controls, within the framework laid down by HQ, are in place to safeguard the assets of companies in the Region
6.Develop appropriate analyses of past, present and forecast financial results, independent of country or regional management, to provide thorough explanation of performance and prompt, effective reaction to performance issues
7.Provide guidance and advice to regional and in-country financial management regarding policy, processes, systems and financial staffing and organization
8.Assist in the development of the Region’s business plan, including setting requirements for budgeting, reviewing and analyzing all submissions, generating recommendations re final budgets, consolidation and overall plan presentation
9.Develop close, co-operative working relationships with Finance Managers based in other parts of China and in Singapore so as to be able to provide & meet timely consolidated management reporting requirements
10.Provide objective financial analyses, recommendations and support for corporate development projects including acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and major new business initiatives when required. These activities will span business evaluation, due diligence process and business integration planning
11.Assist in the Strategic Planning/Annual budget process, reviewing and analyzing all submissions and participating in the development of overall business strategy for the Region.

Qualifications/任职资格:

Essential Skills

1.High degree of initiative and innovative thinking
2.Good communication and negotiating skills to be able to positively “challenge” budget holders
3.Promote team working within a wider finance team
4.Good logical and reasoning skills
5.To use initiative to identify and develop areas for improvement in work processes and procedures
6.Ability to motivate and manage a team, setting and agreeing objectives and targets, and monitoring performance
7.Ability to analyze large amounts of data and produce concise, clear and accurate information. To make recommendations for action by management
8.Good time management skills and working practices to enable work to be done within tight deadlines and to agreed timescales.

Specialist Knowledge

1.Advanced user in Microsoft Excel i.e. able to create, manage and manipulate complicated financial spreadsheets
2.Experience of detailed daily management of integrated company ledger systems e.g. SUN Accounting System/Hyperion system/Oracle
3.Experience of using a modern reporting tool to extract data from underlying financial systems and build reports.

Experience

1.At least 10 years post-qualification experience in both external audit and accounting in commercial environment. 5 or more years of management experience in a MNC
2.Experience of liaising with Branch/JVs
3.Experience of line management supervision.

Qualifications

1.Qualified accountant (CPA) in China is preferable
2.University graduate majoring in accounting/finance
3.Proficient in writing and speaking English
