Warehouse Manager
Shanghai Regional Distribution Center

Role:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Distribution Center. In this position, the Warehouse Manager is in charge of directing the workforce to completion of daily targets for Inbound receiving and stock keeping, Outbound picking and shipping, Inventory Accuracy activities, Continuous Improvement Kaizens, Quality Nonconformance Returns and Internal Rewarehousing activities. They will also be responsible for updating Key Performance Indicators in the following areas: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (Consisting of improvement activities, and communications with warehouse personnel).
Reporting Structure:
The Warehouse Manager will report directly to the Head of Shanghai Regional Distribution Center Supply chain. They will interact with other company Management Staff including: Transportation Manager, Inventory Manager, Customer Service Manager, Customer Service Representatives, Regional Asia Pacific Project Manager and appointed company China Finance representatives.
This Manager will also interact with Tongsheng Logistics Warehouse Employees. In this interaction, the Warehouse Manager will direct daily activities to Tongsheng Supervisors, communicate with warehouse workers on the floor, and clerks. The manager’s role will be to understand processes, coach and mentor employees on creating best practices, and following up on process adherence.
Daily responsibilities:
? Review of Stock to be received, counted, sorted and stock kept.
? Review of Daily orders to be picked, packed and shipped.
? Review of Cycle Counting requirements.
? Review of Re-warehousing activities.
? Review of prior day’s performance on all activities.
? Daily meetings with supervisors to communicate concerns, direction, and responsibilities, and developing countermeasures to problems that have been identified.
? Interaction with Dealerships via phone, and dealer visits to the Warehouse.
? Learning development on company policies and procedures.
? Managing coverage during holidays for maintained service levels in other markets.
? Management of Continuous Improvement Activities, and Waste elimination.
? Management of process documentation, creation of Standard Operating Procedures, and creation of one-point lessons.
? Management of quality returns processing.
? Management of Core returns processing.
? Review of Workload mapping.
? Weekly Safety Walk Audits with correction of all unsafe acts and conditions.
? Weekly Key Performance Indicator updates.
? Monthly Town Hall meetings with workers on state of the operation and company.
? Monthly review of Operations Performance according to SQDCM with Head of Shanghai RDC Supply Chain.
