Job Responsibility:

- Strategic Leadership for Effective channels for distributing Caltex products in country

• Review effectiveness of existing distribution channel strategies aligned with sales/market share objectives
• Evaluate competitor distribution channels strategies, and develop SWOT and actions plans
• Identify geographic opportunities and develop optimal local distribution plans

- Develop Distributor Strategy Implementation Support Materials

• Develop distributor management tools and systems as resource for in country sales teams
• Develop and implement training programmes for distributor networks

- Work with sales and Cross Functional Team to Support Distributor Strategy Implementation

• Coordinate with Cross Functional Team for building “ Value Propositions” for Distributors
• Help to implement distributor strategies
• Implement effective tracking KPI’s to monitor progress
• Coach distributors and distributor sales managers in implementing Caltex’s distributor strategy efficiently and effectively
• Provide training to local sales and marketing teams

- Visit and Audit Distributor Operations

• Review adherence to recommend work processes summarizing corrective action needed
• Field coaching to Caltex sales staff on distributor management process

Job Requirements:

- At least 5- 10 years working experience in trade marketing function of MNC companies. Working experience in lubricants or other auto-related industries & FMCG will be a plus.

- Proficient knowledge in market mapping and distribution strategies, esp. in channel categorization, distributor relationship management, financial and business acumen, as well as strategic account management, etc.

- Strong capability in Strategic Network planning & channel implementation

- Proven ability in working and communicating effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders e.g. Distributors, Customers, and Internal Sales.

- Excellent communication skills and good team player

- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English

- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
