I. GENERAL INFORMATION

Position Title: COSTING MANAGER
Department: Finance
Location: Guangzhou, China

II. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Finance Director

III. RESPONSIBILITY

Part A: Overall Responsibility

Primarily responsible for managing costing activities, and to continually design, develop and support company cost management tools and process. The role ensures an effective and efficient cost management system, and ensures all costing activities are compliant to relevant regulations and company worldwide procedures.

Part B: Principal Responsibilities

? Build up standard cost accounting system and cost accounting related process & procedures to align with relevant regulations & WorldWide Procedures.
? Conduct costing month end closing and ensure fair statement of costing related items.
? Prepare and analyze product cost for actual reporting, business planning, strategic planning, and latest estimates, interpret all cost variance vs. plan.
? Be responsible for financial analysis on product cost and major activities such as new product formula or package, plant capital investments and other related activities.
? Act as a business partner, work cross functionally for process improvement and cost reduction solutions, ensure key costing related financial ratios are properly controlled and monitored vs. targets, alert Production Department of any deviations/risks on a timely basis, and recommend the necessary action steps.
? Ensure costing related control points in place and support in internal/external audit.
? Develop and retain costing talents, ensure sufficient backup for the organization.
? Other ad-hoc tasks as per required.

IV. KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education: -Graduate of a four-year course from a reputable school preferably with accounting or finance background

Professional Experience: -At least six years working experience with three years solid experience in related filed, preferably from multinational companeis

Knowledge and Skills: -Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
-Team player and can work under pressure
-Practical knowledge of SAP system for all relevant manufacturing modules
-Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
