职位描述

1.0 DEFINITION
1.1 It shall be the responsibility of the Managing Director to ensure that the Work Cell Operation Manager understands this Job Description and that he/she helps lead the department in continuous improvement in the areas identified.
1.2 It shall be the responsibility of the Work Cell Operation Manager to assist directing and coordinating his/her work cell's efforts in the achievement of continuous improvement in the area identified herein.
1.3 It shall be the responsibility of the Human Resources Manager to ensure that the duties outlined in this Job Description are appropriate and in compliance with all applicable law.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Work Cell Operation Manager shall report to Managing Director.
3.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
3.1 Assist the Managing Director in leading the Work Cell in operating with a high level of efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm, striving to achieve excellence (and avoid mediocrity) in all endeavors. Be a creative and proactive contributor to the management team, focused on continuous improvement.
4.0 JOB SUMMARY
4.1 Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
5 PREREQUISITES
5.1 Develop and track monitoring systems relevant to the work cell. Emphasis on work cell cost-reduction and delivery of defect-free product to the customer. Ensure goals are clear to all individuals and continuous improvement is being achieved.
5.2 Ensure cost-effective management of all materials and plant property.
5.3 Be a key player in the sizing process. Ensure that the work cell signs up for the most aggressive, yet achievable, schedules possible, and reacts quickly to schedule changes. Help to plan work cell layouts so that they are set up in a cost-effective manner.
5.4 Recruit and maintain a high-calibre staff appropriate to business circumstances.
5.5 Build and maintain an excellent farm club of differing maturity and career track timing.
5.6 Develop, motivate and challenge all team members to perform to their full potential, providing direct and timely feedback in formal and informal media.
5.7 Create a decentralized operation that is organized along project lines and empowers all individuals to make a difference.
5.8 Create an environment that is culturally embedded in a "Quality First" mentality.
5.9 Maintain a thorough knowledge and in-depth field of experience regarding emerging electronic manufacturing technologies, and encourage others to do the same.
5.10 Work with all levels of the organization to improve quality levels (goal: Zero Defect product). Utilize the LAN SPC System in this effort. Drive to conclusion all action items assigned to the Work Cell.
5.11 Ensure all levels of the organization are focused on providing the customer with defect-free product and 100% On-Time Delivery.
5.12 Create a sense of pride that ensures a world-class facility in terms of appearance.
5.13 Maintain positive employee relations by encouraging direct and indirect employees to take advantage of our open-door policy, suggestion box, participation in status and team meetings, and interactive one-on-one communication.
5.14 Foster a general feeling of identity and loyalty within each production team. Celebrate accomplishments; communicate calmly, but clearly, areas that need improvement. Instill a continuous improvement mentality in all facets of the organization.
5.15 Review all relevant policies and procedures (as initiated and revised) with direct reports, instructing them regarding the specific application to their assignments. Ensure each individual's comprehension, as well as their ongoing support and compliance.
5.16 Foster good morale, a proactive and positive culture, and maximize the opportunity for personal growth at all levels of the organization.
6.0 JOB DESCRIPTION
6.1 To be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the Work Cell function.
6.2 To be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written media.
6.3 To maintain discretion and confidentiality in personnel issues at all times.
6.4 To maintain a thorough knowledge of an adherence to company policies and procedures.
6.5 To be dependable and conscientious in work performance.
6.6 To be flexible and available to work overtime, as needed
