Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for creating and implementing HMEVA sourcing strategies and processes to deliver optimal financial performance while exceeding customer service levels. It covers the following process: Understanding and monitoring raw material supply and demand balance for the HMEVA technology platform in the Asian region; Supplier selection and management; Development of cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.

2. Qualify new supply source, co-work with technical team & quality team

3. Negotiate with qualified suppliers to strong support business growth.

4. In consultation with planning team to ensure secure RM supply and determine best supply source for our need.

5. Initiate cost saving project and provide market price index for business decision.

6. Follow up supply defect and evaluate supplies performance, aim on close quality issue and chase supply improvement

7. Gather & analysis market intelligence, through suppliers, attend trade fairs, internet of professional materials source, etc.

8. Co-ordinate with global lead buyer to harmonize and take same actions to suppliers, utilize global purchase power by frequent communication.

9. Support manufacturing site purchasing in key projects and large volume indirect materials

10. Provide regular reports as required


Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree of chemistry;

- Above 5 years of working experience in multi-national company as purchase/logistic/sourcing manager

- Bilingual language ability & strong negotiation/communication power

- Anticipate and analysis market information

- Strong business sense with good judgement and analytical ability.
