Job Description

? Support and maintain the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and associated applications (e.g. OPC) within

the production plant

? Implement the given traceability requirements into the MES application for new and existing products and lines,

as well as to take part in multidisciplinary workshops for new or existing products and offer solutions to ensure

the MES processes are developed according to company standards and within deadlines

? Investigate program, data and interface issues

? Provide advanced product support, troubleshooting and customer management to ensure efficient problem

resolution, with focus on critical/high-priority situations

? Will act as a liaison between the plant-engineering, plant product management, and worldwide professional

services teams

? Ensure that the MES-Configuration is aligned with our global internal IT-requirements and assure to make the

best of business benefits

? The candidate will have regular interaction with the production-department, IT-department, quality-department

and other worldwide located MES-automation experts, and is additionally responsible for following operations

Qualification

? Bachelors Eng./Comp Science or equivalent knowledge (minimum 2-3 years industry experience )

? Experience with one or more of the following systems / environments

? MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), including automated / manually data collection, quality and efficiency in manufacturing

? Knowledge of production-environments, e.g. with EOLs, ICTs, AOIs, SMT-Production, PLC-Integration

? Knowledge of industrial-solutions, automation-processes and manufacturing environment in general

? Strong domain and application knowledge, particularly in the areas of manufacturing automation, control and analytics

Experience with one or more of the following systems (a plus)

? Programming experience in Java Script, in PLC-Development / OPC-Development / Communication-Protocols

? Experience with Windows Operating Systems

? Automotive or IT working experience is a plus

? Exceptional ability to rapidly diagnose, reproduce and solve complex customer problems

? Good communication skills, a team player, ability to energize
