Sephora Asia is looking to hire a Regional SAP Finance Functional Consultant to successfully plan and execute projects (in terms of team size, complexity and average duration) that support Sephora’s Omni Retail and Fulfilment strategies.

Scope

  

In this role you will work on high priority SAP projects, play a key role in strategic solution design and supporting operational enhancements on the regional platform

  

The assignments given to you may span multiple locations/countries and you will need to be aware of local requirements when delivering solutions to each market. You will be part of the SAP COE, with functional reporting to the Head of Regional Solutions.

  

You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and implementing SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO). The role requires substantial interaction with customers and key stakeholders and may require extensive long term travel.

  

You have experience with S4/Hana best practices and are able to deploy solutions at enterprise standards; you will perform all duties in accordance with Sephora Asia IT delivery policies, practices, and procedures. 

  

You will be based in Shanghai, and travel as required – in periods extensively.

  

 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  

Business Support / Application Management Support (AMS)

  

 

  

• Level 2 and 3 support for Incident Management such as:

  • Issue Investigation

  • Coordination with the key users

  • Execution and testing fixes

  • Migration of fixes into production

• Handle problem management to eliminate recurring incidents and to maximize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented

• Follow-up on data exchange between SAP and third-party systems to ensure  data consistency with the coordination of ESB vendor, SAP team and business team

• Manage the SAP SI (System Integrator) vendors and challenge the technical solution design

• Ensure the SLA is strictly followed

   

  SAP FICO Configuration for System Implementations

                      

• Involved in process, functional and technical design activities

• Involved in analysis of AS-IS and TO-BE processes

• Create functional and technical requirements as an input to application design

• Develop and test detailed functional and technical designs for business solution components

• Involved in application build, test, and deploy activities

• Plan and execute data conversion activities

• Initiate test planning and execution such as:

              

• Pre Go-Live

• UAT

• Post Go live training

   

  Skill-set requirements:

  PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

            

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance etc.)

• 4+ years of IT industry experience and SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules either through functional support or SAP implementation

• Experience in SAP Finance Accounting - AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting etc.

• Experience working in a retail business a plus

• Ability to effectively work on multiple projects concurrently and independently (where required)

• Cross-Module integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD or both)

• Familiar with ITIL processes, policies and procedures

• Professional certification with SAP and S4/Hana - beneficial
