PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Develop technology competency for China analytical team

2. Carry out the analytical development and improvement work.

？ Develop or improve analytical methods for the sourcing projects in China, assist and be involved in the validation of new/improved analytical methods;

？ Carry out the installation and set-up of internal analytical method in analytical lab, including method transfer to local supplier’s labs if necessary.

？ Develop trace level analytical methods for changeover

？ Provide analytical support to process development, including the set-up, installation, development of process control analytical method, carrying out analysis for process control.

？ Carry out the chemical structure study to the significant unknown peaks with the technology of GCMS and LCMS, to provide the information to process chemists for the control/eliminate the impurity levels;

3. Provide analytical support to routine sourcing business through:

？ Arrange the routine analysis to the product samples from China local suppliers, to make sure that each batches of intermediates purchase meet Quality Specifications;

？ Arrange and utilized the analytical resource, control the reasonable throughout time for each sample;

？ To maintain and update the analytical database for each product, and issue the analytical data timely;

？ Compose and update the operation procedures or worksheet to make sure the analytical methods aligned with those of Quality Specifications.

4. Provide analytical support to local suppliers

？ Install and set up process control analytical method in local suppliers labs;

？ Install and set up analytical methods in local supplier’s labs and carry out data comparison following internal guideline if necessary

？ Provide the timely trouble-shooting to local suppliers whenever they have analytical problems;

？ Help to set up QC procedure in local supplier’s labs;

？ Participate the timely audit and cross-check to make sure the reliability of outside labs;

5. Support internal analytical laboratories at corporate production facilities in the Pacific region.

6. Participate the daily management of analytical lab

？ Compose and update the QC operation procedures for the lab management;

？ Operate and maintain the main analytical instrumentation and test equipment, including calibration and systems qualification in order to provide accurate and reliable data.

Major functions:

- Develop, validate and install new methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to meet business needs in a timely manner.

- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of final product samples and process samples including in-process monitoring.

- Collect data, create and maintain the database for each products.

- Operate and maintain the main analytical instrumentation and test equipment, including calibration and systems qualification in order to provide accurate and reliable data.

- Transfer the relative analytical methods for process control and final products to essential material suppliers' labs; Participate the timely audit and cross-check to make sure the reliability of outside labs;
