Job Summary:
The position will support the Company’s operations and sales activities in China.
Responsibilities:
1) Assist in negotiating and preparing a board range of contracts including leases, joint venture agreements, master services, agreements, procurement contracts, and others.
2) Support M&A activities in China.
3) Provide extensive counselling and training to the business personnel regarding contracts, compliance and other operational matters.
4) Directly interact with regional management and senior business clients.
5) Some compliance involved and up to 20% travel expected.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
1) Law degree from a China university
2) At least 3-year experience working as in house counsel in MNC or law firm
3) Must read, write and speak Chinese and English
4) Able to effectively communicate with regional management and senior business clients. Provide counselling and training to the business on contracts. To assist in negotiating and preparing a broad range of contracts.
5) Able to negotiate Chinese contracts with customers in China. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
