Position Highlights

Identifies and develops new customer accounts, develops and supports existing accounts within assigned territory. Prepares customer proposals, makes sales presentations, ensures that UIC products and services match customer specifications, and coordinates after sale support services.

This position reports directly to Key Accounts Director, Asia. The position will be based in Shenzhen.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Identifies and develops new accounts, develops and supports existing accounts within the assigned territory.
                                                                               
2. Diagnoses customer needs and works with Product Divisions and other Universal Sales Engineers to develop solutions that demonstrate Universal's capability to meet those needs. Prepares customer proposals, quotes, presentations, RFQ's and reports. Obtains Product Division and Engineering technical support to meet special customer requirements.
                                                                               
3. Arranges and accompanies customers on visits to Universal and existing customer facilities to demonstrate Universal equipment and systems.
                                                                               
4. Works with Product Divisions and Manufacturing Support personnel to ensure contract review process is completed, clearly defining customer equipment and delivery requirements and Universal's commitments to the customer.
                                                                               
5. Works with Product Training, Field Engineering and Product Divisions to schedule customer training, equipment acceptances, installation to schedule customer training, equipment acceptances, installation services, and after sales technical support requirements.
                                                                           
6. Monitors customer satisfaction levels and resolves issues with the appropriate Universal personnel and through use of the corporate Total Quality Program.
                                                                           
7. Gathers and reports industry, market and competitive data to the Product Divisions.

8. Supports Marketing Committee for activities such as trade show and seminar.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Technical background.
2. Strong English both verbal and written communications.
3. Marketing/Sales experience in technical sales.
4. Experience of 5 years and more in automation or machine sales in the electronics industry or automotive Industry.
5. Good contacts in the Automotive/automation/SMT Industry.
6. Knowledge about China market.
