Summary:
Supports the assigned sales teams by performing advanced and diversified administrative duties that require a comprehensive knowledge of sales and marketing operating systems and business processes. Supports sales internationally in the development of global sales tools and processes.
This position reports directly to Sales Director of Foxconn account, based in Shenzhen, China
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Utilizes system and program tools to streamline business processes.
2. Automates reporting information to assist the sales management team to effectively operate the business and accurately measure success against stated goals and objectives.
3. Coordinates, collects, and summarizes field sales information for operations/production meetings and monthly reports.
4. Manages the global annual sales planning process. Develops the reporting format; communicates with related parties to review impact of budget submissions; identifies and escalates areas of concern to the Director. Ensures that all submissions are accurate and meet the stated goals and objectives. Prepares global sales/service compensation profiles from the bookings plan.
5. Prepares operating expense data necessary to conduct spending reviews for assigned cost centers and Sales offices.
6. Works closely with IT to develop Lotus Notes/SAP based tools to assist direct and indirect Sales representatives with access to product pricing, spec. cons and relevant Corporate information.
7. Provides training on sales tools, Lotus Notes databases, SAP systems and Universal’s marketing Websites to international sales personnel.
8. Develops and manages sales and marketing databases to provide accessibility of materials and information through the web to direct and indirect sales personnel and customers.
9. Performs administrative duties in support of the Director, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers and Corporate Account Managers.
10. Manages projects involving the use of complex spreadsheets and/or database applications.
11. Coordinates, plans, and may participate in regional road shows and sales meetings.
12. Exercises considerable judgement and independence while providing system and administrative support to field personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in a business discipline and 3-5 years of related sales and Marketing experience. Strong analytical and PC skills are required. Advanced proficiency in MS Office or comparable software (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, SAP and database management required. English is required in oral and written.
