Key Responsibilities

· Plan and drive construction and start-up operations at new QRC's or Manufacturing facilities

· Ensure construction and operations standards are met based on building specifications and operations requirements

· Provide support and direction on equipment start up during commissioning and prior

· Report monthly on Significant QRC initiatives and operational improvements

· Provide training in equipment operations in meeting customer expectations

· Lead best practice and CIP implementation

· Report monthly CIP activities for the mentioned facilities

· Provide safety training and recommend safe practices throughout site

· Audit facilities as required to assure adherence to standards are being met

· Provide lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) recommendations for plant development and ongoing operations

· Lead multi-disciplined teams in the implementation of improvement activities

· Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) and prepare the QRC or Manufacturing facilities for audits

· Develop and train new employees in safety, operations, and processes

Qualifications

· 4 year technical / business degree or equivalent experience

· 5 -10 years experience in manufacturing and / or project management

· Mastery of CIP concepts and practices (Black Belt certification desirable)

· Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience and skills

· Experience with Kaizen, Rapid Change-over, and Theory of Constraints

· Knowledge of various continuous improvement methodologies including 6S, TPM, TQM,

· Skill full ability to resolve issues - a problem solver

· Willingness to travel as needed to support this position (75%)

· Locations may vary - China / Asia

· Office location - Suzhou (CN)

· Good interpersonal skills

· Strong PC and database management skills

· Fluent in English and Chinese Languages
