Summary

Supports proposal developments and plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Principal Accountabilities (Functional)

1. Interfaces with technical team on customer side and supports commercial team with information gathering and project proposal development.
2. Supports commercial team with presentation and defense of project proposals with the customer
3. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
4. Manages all aspects of customer communications during the phase of the project
5. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
6. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
7. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
8. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
9. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
10. Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
11. Serve as liaison between the Engineering teams and efforts between Asia and US Automation groups
12. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Principal Accountabilities (General Supervisory)

May also be responsible for these:

1. Carrie out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable State and Federal laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work and appraising performance.
2. Interpret company policies to employees and enforces all safety regulations.
3. Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department; may include budget development and control.
4. Develop workforce planning and utilization programs to satisfy actual and projected requirements. Includes the scheduling of overtime and cost/effective use of temporary services.
5. Implement cross-training activities and plans for employees under his/her direction with specific attention toward the development of a highly flexible work force.
6. Establish and implement team/individual Critical Success Factors, including the measurement and documentation of the progress of each employee toward the established goals.
7. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists employees in solving work-related problems.
8. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

1. BS degree in Engineering or other appropriate discipline, with 10+ years of experience in managing large cross-functional projects.
2. Custom automation expertise at both the implementation and project management level required.
3. Project Management Professional Certification a plus.
4. Must be able to travel internationally for about 30% of the time
5. Fluent English speaking and writting
6. Requires the ability to communicate clearly in giving presentations.
7. Must be able to communicate clearly with fellow workers.
8. Travel to customer sites or technical conferences will be required. 举报 分享
