1. Job Identification

Position Title: Customer Service & Application Engineer
Department: Customer Service Department
Direct Report: Customer Service Supervisor

2. Purpose

Under the guidelines of Besi global service operations, to provide the premium service to our worldwide customers and assist local sales team to win the customer satisfaction and market share a step further.

3. Minimum Requirement

? Education & Experiences
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering and or Electronics Discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience mainly in Semiconductor Assembly industry
- Involved in the semiconductor process application, support and trouble-shooting of process or equipment related issues especially in the related segment
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills, providing excellent support to the customers and end-users

? Special Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Preferable Besi product experiences, for example, experiences on Esec, Fico, Datacon & Meco
- Dedicated to serve the customers at request
- Good command in communicating with the customers
- Sophisticated in building up and managing the relationship with the customers

4. Main Duties & Responsibilities

? Provide professional field service duties (equipment installations, basic customer training, equipment trouble-shooting, process set-up, equipment maintenance and modification, etc.)
? Provide technical solutions/ problems solving on customer issues
? Owner of all issues at responsible customers
? Execution of projects/ tasks assigned by Area Customer Service Supervisor
? Establish good customer relationship
? Diligent follow-up and closing of buy-off (equipment, modules, retrofit kits, software upgrades) and warranty claims/ parts
? Provide Weekly/ Special Reports/ Project Updates to Area Customer Service Supervisor for activities status update
? Build-up strong technical know-how on product/ problem solving via structured knowledge transfer between Besi China and Product Groups
? Provide Medium Level training to Customer and Customer Service Engineer
