Logistics Engineers within the 4PL deliver a unique blend of analytical, supply chain content, customer-facing, and project management skills.
The Engineering team succeeds by identifying improvement opportunities within the customer’s supply chain and creating robust designs and business cases for implementation.
负责第四方物流业务，提供分析、供应链、客户关系和项目管理支持；

？ Essential Functions基本职能
1. Project and business case analyses: identifying, analyzing, and delivering project based results to support new initiatives and/or continuous improvement opportunities in operations

2. Analytical rigor: able to solve complex problems while clearly documenting the assumptions, logic, work steps, etc. Prepare documentation pertaining to account requirements and update as needed to meet changes in customer requirements, and/or changes in processes defined by Menlo

3. Customer relationships: interact daily with internal and external customers to ensure expectations are being met and to review progress. Explain/train/educate others on logistics moves and costs for projects under management. Attend weekly meetings to keep functional leads, management, and stakeholders updated on current projects and timelines

4. Reporting: perform logistics reporting for various projects/initiatives. This includes written communications (presentations, summary and detailed reports) and oral communications (presentations, meeting updates)

5. Lean: learn and apply lean concepts such as A3s, value stream maps, kaizen events, and 5S.

？ Qualification Requirements任职资格
？ Knowledge知识：
Undergraduate degree required; suggested field of study: B.A./B.S. in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or Logistics Management (or other technical and/or analytical discipline)
本科学历，商业、工业管理，或工程、物流管理专业学士学位(或其它技术和/或分析专业)
Masters degree desirable; suggested field of study: Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering

Strong systems aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access (required)

Previous experience with supply chain network modeling including iLog/CAPS/Insight, Optiant, or other supply chain modeling tools (essential); other warehousing and design tools preferred (e.g., AutoCad)
