职位描述：
To reinforce our Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team, we are currently searching for experienced and ambitious Sourcing Specialists; subject matter experts with leadership capabilities, to drive the Sourcing activities for our Plastics and Metal components & materials. The Sourcing Specialists will be part of the team, responsible for sourcing & procurement in support of the manufacturing activities of Dorel Juvenile China.

The Sourcing Specialist will be accountable for driving and further developing the sourcing initiatives, that achieve value without compromising business strategy and performance. In this role the specialist will develop and implement strategic sourcing programs and contractual arrangements with preferred suppliers by performing bids, managing supplier relationships and working close together with internal customers and stakeholders, and will be responsible for identifying and capturing cost savings.

The Sourcing Specialists will report directly to the Strategic Buying Director and the position is based in Zhongshan.

Key responsibilities

? Work cross pillar – R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations in general, including working together with project teams on component development of new products;
? Suppliers sourcing and selection in alignment with buying strategy;
? Structure costing and saving programs development & implementation;
? Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations, following pre-defined Strategic Sourcing methodology;
? Further maintain and developing the existing supplier base;
? Negotiate price based on an in-depth understanding of components and materials;
? Continually assess market conditions and develop sourcing strategies that maximize value to the Company;
? Annual trading terms negotiations and supplier management;
? On-boarding of new suppliers to meet and follow company policies and requirements;
? Identify testing and production issues upfront and working together with Quality teams to resolve;
? Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed;
? Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances.

Profile

? Bachelor’s degree at minimum;
? Minimum of 8 year of relevant working experience, obtained in a role as Procurement Manager or Sourcing / Procurement Specialist, in sourcing, supply chain related (trading) companies, preferably in a consumer products field;
? Proven track record in negotiations, strategic vendor selection, regular reviews, forecasting and planning etc.;
? Have extensive knowledge of Chinese suppliers related to:
o Metal raw materials and production processes
and/or
o Plastic raw materials, injection & extrusion processes
? Excellent communication skills, obtained in global & matrix based organizations;
? Strong negotiation skills, be able to adapt to the situation;
? Ability to work cross-border and across cultures;
? Ability to work in teams and to interact with and establish relationships with employees at all levels;
? Hands-on, flexible and result driven;
? Strong analytical skills;
? Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both speaking and writing.
