岗位职责

1. Conduct activities to achieve new product introduction/transfer from other sites, resolve production issues, and to provide engineering support for Technical Services
2. Make non-routine choices within an established precedent, considering objectives, under limited supervision.
3. Report feedback on results with detailed analysis / recommendations.
4. Analyze and assist with solving problems or customer complaints regarding existing products and originate process changes for new applications.
5. Communicate with internal departments and other Heraeus locations to resolve escalated issues.
6. Execute continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodology to improve efficiency of existing process and/or procedures.
7. Conduct experiments to evaluate new materials.
8. Create new or updated manufacturing instructions.
9. Maintain MSDS information for Heraeus products.
10. Handle confidential information with care.
11. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
12. Supervisory responsibilities include the selection, training and development, assigning work, and performance management of employees.
13. Adherence to Code of Conduct as applicable to job function:  CoC Guideline No. 1:  Guideline for the Procurement of Products and Services, No. 2:  Guideline for the Prevention of Bribery in Commercial Transactions, No. 3:  Guideline for the Acceptance of Precious Metals and No. 4:  Guideline for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Participation in Criminal Acts.

1. A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Materials) or similar degree
2. two to four years of experience in a technical role supporting a manufacturing environment is required.  The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  Knowledge and experience of thick film paste/ink is preferred
3. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, in both Mandarin and English
4. computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel are required

6. Must be willing to ask for clarification or assistance when needed.  Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Communicating in a professional manner with people outside the organization and representing the organization to customers. This communication can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.  Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with all levels within the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills required
7. Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional manner are required.  Organizational skills, teamwork skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to solve problems are required.  Technical writing skills and computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel are required.  Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and ISO standards is preferred
8. Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills required. Ability to conduct measurements and conversions of measurements
9. The ability to notice when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, and occasionally stand and walk
