KEY CHALLENGES

Briefly describe the principal problems (challenges) to resolve, and difficulties to overcome.
Main challenges and difficulties to overcome:
- Closely work with other managers and engineers in the project team and RAPTC to provide his expertise to ensure project work targets achieved with its continue improvement.
- The job holder must show his ability of electrical engineering expertise through implementation of best practices and procedures.
- The job holder must demonstrate good knowledge and work skill and solid practice to carry out this electrical engineering work in the field of chemical industrial capital investment project.


INTERNAL CONTACTS

Indicate the principal internal contacts within company, excluding those with the immediate supervisor or subordinates. Summarize the nature or purpose of these contacts.
- All people involved in the project team for project study and implementation
- Close coordination with the Project Manager and engineering manager in different scopes of the job to facilitate communication / links with project customer’s organization & site team to define the electrical technical specifications, related cost estimate…in line with company's standards and procedures, document and records, work on action plans, corrective action.
- Communication with company's electrical team of WW engineering organization. And correspondence for project status regular report, records, compliance, return of experience, lessons learned, and feedback to company investment management system.


EXTERNAL CONTACTS

Indicate the external contacts. Summarize the nature or purpose of these contacts.
- Coordinate the interfaces and relations of Design institute, engineering firm, multiple subcontractors/vendors to review and assess Contractor’s design specifications, engineering drawings, track and assess the contractor’s engineering design work quality and progress, scope and change management, and supervise all contractor’s work quality in compliance with the contracts and expected results before / during study and implementation phase,.


DEGREE OF AUTONOMY

Indicate the factors which determinate the degree of autonomy of the job regarding : policies, procedures, regulations,directives, supervision, hierarchical control frequency and nature of reporting your activities.

- Should implement the related tools and methods of electrical engineering as per defined at the central engineering level for corporate Capex management system
- Reporting to be done in accordance with the RAPTC & company's engineering requirements.

- Encouraged to take the initiatives to enhance operational excellence in the zone with the support from the central engineering expertise


JOB SPECIFICATION

Indicate below the following:

* Education Level

- BSc degree in relevant electrical Engineering

* Length of Working Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in the related chemical industry environment (pharmaceutical / petrochemical/ fine chemical ),
- Knowledgeable on international codes IEC and GB standards and codes and Standard practices , PRC regulations, permit to work and other national legal requirements for the safe execution of electrical engineering,
- Have high level of Electrical safety awareness and competent in designs reviews and field execution.
- Ability to support discipline engineers to review change order proposal from subcontractors.
- Good skill in computer, familiar with office software.
- Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese
- Working proactively with result oriented and teamwork spirit
