Position Summary:
The job is overall responsible to deliver quality products to customers on time and ensure business performance continuously improve through PPI towards to the operating goals. This position has dotted reporting lines to operations directors of BUs to align with divisional goals and practices to support the operations strategy in China.
Key Responsibilities:
?Manage the day-to-day operations of the business units in Beijing.
?Implement lean manufacturing and drive results as displayed by key metric improvements particularly in service levels, quality, productivity, health and environmental safety, and asset utilization.
?Work out comprehensive production schedule based on the company manufacturing strategy and customer demand, including the production planning, equipment and capacity, mapping out the process and measures schedule. Cooperate with the Supply-Chain and all related function to ensure on time delivery performance. Control WIP inventory and manufacturing cycle time.
?Serve as primary interface for all key aspects of the operations within the regional and divisional including customer and quality audits, capital projects, commercial and customer service inquiries, EHS inspections, regulatory compliance and personnel issues.
?Develop relationships with other functions of sourcing, quality, supply chain, commercial, finance, HR, and overseas sites, assist in developing and using all resources at all levels to achieve "best in class' operations.
?Provide leadership to employees to ensure critical operating goals are being met. Set and monitor developmental plans for direct reports. Develop and coach the various teams and recruit and retain exceptional talent.
?Maintain a current knowledge base of existing good practices, while use PPI to constantly seeking innovative work processes, from both internal and external sources to reduce waste and improve productivity.
?Develop and maintain operating budgets to meet or exceed operational and financial goals.
Requirements/Qualifications:
?Bachelor degree for engineering or business required;
?10 years experiences in manufacturing environment, 3 years on managerial role, 5 years with multi-national company;
?Good command of English;
?Team player with collaborative leadership;
?Articulate communication skill and interpersonal skill;
?Capability for performance management and development;
?Effective problem-solving skill.
