Introduction:

Norsafe is seeking to fill a position of Senior Service Engineer or a Service Supervisor to oversee regional service activity.

Job Description of Senior Service Engineer/ Service Supervisor:

· Carry out commissioning on new boats and davits

· Carry out maintenance and repairs of Norsafe and other products from other manufacturers

· Send in travel accounts after completed service assignments

· Contact with customers and subcontractors

· Follow-up of service assignments from start to completion of final documentation

· Provide documentation for customers for completed assignments

· Be available for travel to any location within Mainland China and Hong Kong at any time

· Be available for overnight travel for extended periods, until the job is finished.

· Lead service jobs and supervise other Service Engineers at the job site

· Assist with gathering market information and participate in strategic planning

· Maintain direct communication with Manager, direct Supervisor and other key staff at HQ

· Monitor performance of other Service Engineers and provide feedback

· Responsible to monitor cost and efficiency of work performed

· Assure outstanding quality work performed by Norsafe Service Engineers and high level of customer satisfaction

Skills & Personal Attributes

· Fluent in both Chinese & English, both written and oral

· Highly motivated and able to work independently

· Excellent troubleshooting skills with logical approach to problem solving

· Excellent interpersonal skills to lead people

· Able to meet directly with customers and represent Norsafe in a professional and courteous manner

· Excellent presentation skills, suited for meeting with customers and introducing Norsafe products and services as well as able to have technical discussions with customers

Working Experience and Skills

· College degree

· Major in mechanical, technical or maritime

· Extensive Industry Experience 5 or more years directly working as a Lifeboat & Davit Service Engineer

· Experience working in a leadership position

· Familiar with SOLAS & IMO regulations regarding LSA equipment

· Able to read technical drawings

· Must live in or willing to live in the Related area.
