Sulzer Mixpac System (SMS), is leader in the market for technology of cartridge-based two-component mixing and application systems. Our main customers are the adhesive and sealants manufacturers.

Sulzer has four market pillars, which is Dental, Automotive & Electronic Industry, Chemical Construction, and Semi Industrial. To tap into the growing opportunities of Chinese market, Sulzer Shanghai is setting up a new product unit in Minhang Development Zone. Hence, we are inviting capable candidates to join us.

Responsibilities:
1. Support during sampling and assessment, especially when difficulties arise
2. Implemente material testing
3. Implementation of application-based analysis
4. Partizipation in projects
5. Further development of processes and process support up to series production readiness (Design Qualification, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification)
6. Creation of processes and process descriptions
7. Process suitability Analysis
8. Extensive documentation of sampling
9. Support of Production in day-to-day business
10. Support during sampling and process suitability analyses at external suppliers
11. Cause and process analyses during complaints processing
12. Random check of the daily production. (cycle time, process parameters, machine and robot program, documentation)
13. Implement a change control for the production parameters
14. Cause and process analyses when heavy mold damages happen
15. Optimize existing processes (cycle time, product quality and safety)
16. Independent organization and implementation of process optimization in Injection molding including the corresponding upstream, intermediate and downstream manufacturing processes
17. Processing of complaints for the Operations Department (cause analysis within the team
development and implementation of corrective measures, relevant documentation)
18. Documentation and updating of defined key performance indicators within Operations Production Technology (OPT)

Qualification:
1. Majored in plastic injection molding
2. Over 5 years hands on experience with focus on plastic injection processes
3. Knowledge in mold design and related systems
4. Strong focus on systematic, process oriented working style
5. Team player, able to work and communicate in a multicultural global network (strong communication skills)
6. Capability of defining, implementing and sustaining relevant processes
7. Fluent in oral & written English, German is preferred
