Sales Manager – South & East China
Role description:
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager – Asia of Promens Asia - full responsibility for the areas below:
- New markets development
o New market and market extension identification
- Sales Management
o Direct interaction with clients
o Lead monitoring and development, price and terms negotiation, sales closure
o General sales administration with the help of (and by management of) sales team
- New products development
o Idea generation for new products and product improvements
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in industrial sales and business development, preferably within a food or material handling industry.
- Ability to succeed with long sale cycles of solutions/concepts/equipment based on value rather than price alone.
- Relevant education in areas such as business/aquaculture/machinery, food production or industrial product development is desirable.
- Experience, connections and strong interest in aquaculture, fishing, seafood and or meat processing/distribution in south/east China is a great advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to travel freely around the region.

Independence, honesty, drive and resilience. Must be creative, analytical, open and positive and be able to comfortably connect with both conglomerate owners and common workers with various cultural backgrounds.
Location:
Zhanjiang, Guangdong.
