BASIC FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of the Marketing Communication Manager, coordinate the development of Kohler’s Sponsorship strategy planning and execution in the China market.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
? Report to Marketing Communication Manager - Marketing Dept. and assist in Sponsorship strategy development, planning and execution, and leading yearly Sponsorship plan to support the achievement of Kohler brand leadership in PRC.
? Assist Marketing Communication Manager on exploration of various sponsorship opportunities (such as events, concerts, drama, product placement, sports, celebrity cooperation etc.) as well as analysis, evaluation and implementation. Plan and develop annual sponsorship calendar.
? Explore co-branding opportunities and programs with potential partners and leverage co-partners’ resources to maximize the brand impact.
? Complete the pre and post-event reports with recommendations for improvements in order to give a full evaluation of sponsorship projects.
? Build, develop and maintain sound connections with key external resources, e.g., celebrities, partners, vendors, organizations etc. to support the sponsorship and overall marketing strategy and programs.
? Assist Marketing Communication Manager on budget allocation in yearly sponsorship plan.
? Track project budget and to ensure compliance with projections.
? Work closely with PR, Creative, Media, Product, Sales, Finance and other teams to ensure maximum synergy of sponsorship projects.
? Support and provide professional consultation to other business units on sponsorship communication.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
? Report to Marketing Communication Manager - Marketing Communication Dept.
? Frequently contacts with the PR, Creative, Media, Product, Sales, Finance teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? University graduate Marketing, PR or other relevant disciplines
? With a minimum of 3-4 years solid working experience in Marketing department of MNC, 4A PR agency working experience in sponsorship management is preferred
? Intensive knowledge and experience of sponsorship
? Good communication skills in communicating both internally and externally
? Good command of English and Chinese; moderate verbal and strong written skills is a must
? Adaptable, initiative and able to meet deadline in a tight schedule with minimal supervision
? Creativity, open-minded, pleasant, mature, self-motivated and meticulous
? A team player and with good organization skills
? Willing to travel when required by business
