A world famous FMCG company is looking for a city Area Sales Executive (Supervisor level) to take charge of the sales functions in Guangzhou.
Purpose Statement
Visits best retail outlets in designated area regularly and efficiently to reach availability, visibility and awareness objectives. Maintain beneficial relationship with retailers and ensure the largest possible consumer base for products through establishing contacts with the consumers.
Accountabilities
1. TERRITORY COVERAGE
Develop and maintain optimal route plan so that visited outlets represent best proportion of designated territory in terms of volume, location and image. Keep constantly abreast with the changing market situation so that his territory coverage complies with company objectives.
2. AVAILABILITY
Monitor and maximize product availability in visited outlets, widen product assortment by facilitating introduction of new products to POS in order to achieve or exceed availability targets. Eliminate out of stock situation of brands; inform retailer about relevant district CNTC location, educate retailer on calculating proper replenishment of goods to prevent loss of sales. Meet distribution and availability targets set for new product launch.
3. VISIBILITY
Secure optimal visibility of products at point of sales according to cycle objectives.
Negotiate best spot and highest possible share of space of the brands within the outlet to maximize purchasing impulse and enhance consumer off-take.
4. PRICE MONITORING/CORRECTION
Ensure competitive pricing of PM brands in the visited outlets at the level agreed by CNTC.
Collect information about Retail Price in visited outlets.
5. POS MATERIAL PLACEMENT
Place POS materials according to company merchandising standards and to cycle objectives in order to give maximum support to brand off-take.
Select and contract best outlets for POSM package according to company standards.
Constantly monitor the quality of POS materials in order to ensure maintenance and keeping of quality standards. Ensure that agreement is respected through its whole duration in order to maximize benefit from POS materials.
6. TRADE/CONSUMER RELATIONS
Establish and maintain efficient relationship with outlet owners and staff in order that it contributes to achieving availability, visibility, pricing and image objectives. Achieve through the staff that PM brands are treated as primary products in international segment.
Provide information of market trends and news, legal issues and promotions to retailers on continuous basis in order to create professional circumstances for PM brands.
Treat all consumers with maximum care and attention and use all available tools in order to increase brand awareness while respecting legal restraints.
7. POS PROMOTION ACTIVITY
Implement promotions according to sales plan in order to give maximum support in increasing brand awareness and to enhance effectiveness of new product launches.
8. ADMINISTRATIVE
Fulfill all required reporting obligations on time and in good quality. Take the best use of information and knowledge shared by the company, but under no circumstance make it available to third parties.
9. CAR FLEET
Follow up all Car Fleet Policies and procedures. Take the best care of company car.
Closely follow up all safety driving procedures.
10. YSP
Implement all YSP programs and procedures according to policies
Requirement
- 3+ years FMCG sales experience.
- Familiar with modern trade and general trade.
- Good computer skill, especially MS office.
- Fluently English speaking.
- Passion for winning and self motivation.
- Mobility.
