Promens is a leading global plastics manufacturer operating 42 manufacturing facilities in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. The company manufactures a wide range of products, including packaging for food, cosmetics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals and serves multiple industries such as food processing, chemical and medical industries, as well as the automotive, heavy machinery and electronic industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overall responsibility for quality management at Promens Asia's sourcing unit. The main typical products sourced are various kinds of steel parts for automotive industry, although all kinds of projects can occur. Most projects are rather small volume, but high with quality requirements.

- Strategic development and maintenance of quality management systems.
- Management of our own quality team, as well as supplier's quality staff.
- Monitor and improve supplier's quality performance, guide supplier's development.
- Audit supplier's quality systems and check and approve supplier's APQP and PPAP.
- High involvement in quality control of each product and shipment.
- Liase with our European customers on quality requirements, and lead the resolving of quality issues
- Frequent field inspections, continuous improvement and problem solving coaching


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong interpersonal & communication skill
- Integrity, honesty and understanding of our European client's values are very important.
- Good team player and detailed oriented
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- Good analytical and computer skills
- MNC working experience is a must
- Familiarity with TS 16949 and the tools,like: APQP,PPAP,MSA,SPC,FMEA,8D
- Auto industry background with 3 years working experience
- Bachelor degree or higher with major in engineering
