职位描述：
ROLE PURPOSE
? This position will support research of insect resistance traits for transgenic crops
? Coordinate the studies and generate data that meet the expectation of dossier submission for transgenic insect control traits
? Evaluate new insect leads and transgenic events
ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Bench scientist, works with team and coordinate the tasks from the projects
? Design and conduct experiments independently
? Support insect control trait-related project areas to ensure efficient delivery of project goals
? Work in multiple technical teams to support the project needs.

? Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

Critical knowledge
? PhD degree with at least 3 years’ experience in entomology-related fields with a focus on insect biology, physiology and bioassays.
? Strong knowledge of molecular cloning and protein expression.
? An strong interest in and knowledge of agricultural biotechnology is necessary


Critical experience
? Must have experience of insect handling and colony maintenance
? Must know how to design and conduct bioassays
? Must have experience on molecular cloning and protein expression
? Experience of working on resistant insect colony is a plus


Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
? Able to design and conduct insect bioassay experiments
? Able to design and conduct molecular cloning and protein expression experiments
? Proven ability to publish scientific papers and reports
? Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and data-analysis skills


Critical leadership capabilities
? The candidate should be able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
? The candidate should have excellent time and resource management skills
