职位描述
I. POSITION PURPOSE岗位设置目的:
A Lead Driveline Engineer is required in AGCO Changzhou Engineering operations to both strengthen the current transmission design team as well as provide leadership to advance the team to develop new drivelines. The candidate will utilise their engineering driveline expertise and skills to co-ordinate and manage a wide variation of drivelines for new and localized AGCO products in China. The candidate will be expected to oversee both new and current driveline designs and ensure technical support through to final production. The candidate will have responsibility for AGCO designs in Changzhou production and hence all enhancements to driveline designs leading to improvements in performance and reliability.
The candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of design engineers and be expected to grow and mature the driveline team in line with AGCO development plans for China.
The position holder will be expected to work on multiple projects and products at the same time and report to both the Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Director.

? Product cost control and time constraints Provide solution to meet the product cost objective
? To manage risks analysis and investigations on reliability issues Provide support and methodology (FMEA, risks assessment, DVP&R)
? Provide a support service to the other engineering groups Project design reviews with other teams that impact proposed driveline designs
III. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE专业知识与技能:
The role requires experience in the domain of driveline engineering and specifically whole agricultural driveline technology in particular gear, clutch, synchronizer, brake, torsional damper, hydraulics, lift system and electronics integration. It requires good working knowledge of the design and engineering theory of agricultural drivelines. The role is expected to include extensive knowledge and application of calculation corresponding to each technologies and have experience to be:
? Personally accountable for analysis, diagnosis, design, planning implementation and evaluation of project
? Responsible for aspects of project delivery or self and team/department
? Approves documents, deliverables, proposal and requisitions according to defined limits
? Identify the Engineering sign-off criteria and ensure the DVP are in place
? Ensure development results are effectively fed back into the design process
? Responsible for the creation and update of design and system FMEA’s
? Ensure that the appropriate test and legal standards are applied and are reviewed/updated as technology progresses
? Ensure robust design release and test specifications and plans (DVPR) are created to support all build phases with suppliers
? Prioritising engineer workloads to ensure requirements of NPI process are achieved

The job holder is expected to have a experienced technical knowledge of all the impacted functions within the business. The job holder must have a global technical background in design and manufacturing, assembly and production assembly techniques and methods. The job holder needs to control the assembly, cost and function of all the parts under his responsibility, to ensure that the solutions are robust and the chosen designs respect the product group request and also the timing. A keen interest and knowledge in agricultural or construction drivelines is required including current trends and country specific knowledge of industry institutions and developments.
V. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT领导力/人员管理:
Decision making capability in engineering task prioritization linked to the projects in progress. Development and training of staff will also be part of the role and this will take the form of knowledge transfer and yearly performance appraisals and mentoring.
? Cascade technical information and progress tasks through weekly team meetings
? Prioritise team workload to ensure the requirements of the NPI process are achieved for new product introductions
? Create, maintain and enhance external and internal relationships.
? Repsonsible for defining specific tool sets, processes, procedures for engineers within the project team and creation of skills and capability requirement plans
VI. PROBLEM SOLVING解决问题能力:
The job holder must be capable of managing teams to solve all encountered issues during project development with adequate proposals for contingency planning and a structured solution proposal. Knowledge of standard quality methodologies for problem solving is required. Problem solving will mainly be in the domain of technical issues such as overcoming mismatch of technical data or capability between requirements of AGCO site engineering and the supplier. This will require novel solutions to be provided by job holder and/or compromise solutions. The job holder may be required to assess the capability of a supplier and/or service provider (3rd party laboratories etc…) and make judgment calls on their suitability to manufacture certain parts and/or provide alternative design features subject to AGCO site engineering approval.
VII. NATURE OF IMPACT影响力类型
This role is intended to have a positive impact on the business in terms of timely completion of AGCO’s projects and training of locally hired staff regarding AGCO product. The role is also expected to help develop and maintain an accurate and fluid flow of communications between AGCO sites (Canoas, Brazil, Beauvais, France, TAFE, India etc…) and also with suppliers in the location.
The job holder therefore also has a responsibility to help maintain AGCO’s expected quality standards. The job holder is expected to work autonomously and actively seek out the work required to be done. The job holder is expected to make suggestions for improvement and use their initiative at all times in order to progress the objectives and goals of the company. The job holder is responsible for the tasks allocated to them by their line manager and must execute them to a satisfactory conclusion.

X. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES资格与经验:
? Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
? Experience in driveline design and testing of agricultural and/or off-highway vehicles (10+ years)
? Experience of working in overseas locations and on joint design activities
? Ability to communicate fluently in English – Written and spoken
? Trained to extensively use ProE tools including PLM systems
? Trained in the use of calculation software for driveline components (10+ years)
? Significant transmission and CAE experience, espeicially in gear, shaft and bearing systems
? Understand and knowledge of synchroniser and mechanical shift systems
? A knowledge of multi-plate clutch/brake systems
? Good broad knowledge of agricutural machines and components with an understanding of electro/hydraulic system integration
? Extensive knowledge of external shift systems and driveline specification requirements
? Detailed knowledge of FMEA process and ability to lead development including DVP&R
? Excellent IT skills and experience of appropriate software such as MS Office, SAP etc
? Extensive experience and awareness of multicultural team management and ability to operate in a multicultural environment
? Knowledge of process and process change activities (manufacturing, finance, purchasing, etc)
? Excellent communication skills at all levels
? Totally flexible, committed and motivated to deliver in all circumstances especially in a small team
? Good organisational and priorisation skills
? Ability to plan activities through continually changing priorities whilst recoginising the wider business needs
? Able to travel overseas at short notice
A Lead Driveline Engineer is required in AGCO Changzhou Engineering operations to both strengthen the current transmission design team as well as provide leadership to advance the team to develop new drivelines.
