Job Descriptions:
This position calls for a manager or a senior manager who is capable of taking assigned responsibility of external relationships for the company’s business development in China. Reporting to Government Affairs Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the following objectives.

？ 1.Government advocacy - identify the key advocacy organizations critical to the business development and growth initiatives as well as rights to operate and proactively define strategies and programs to establish solid connections and influence with these key advocacies to provide strong supports for the business to successfully execute its growth strategy in China.
？ 2.External stakeholder relations - on behalf of the GA organization, building close relationships with relevant ministries, government agencies, provincial and local government bodies as well as large State Owned Enterprises. Thereby, creating the most favorable business environment for DuPont in China and ensuring appropriate business supports with relevant government agencies and ministries to enable the business to operate effectively in China.
？ 3.Internal communication - taking to heart interest of the internal customers and serves as a main bridge between the GA organization and the business units, driving and coordinating collaboration across SBUs on government affairs programs, lead/facilitate the communications with all internal stakeholders about government affairs issues, strategies and solutions.
？ 4.Serves as general resource to internal DuPont businesses, and business functions and provides functional guidance and mentoring to less senior DuPont government affairs personnel.

Candidate Profile:
？ 1.Chinese national with 10+years of relevant experience from successful and reputable international or large State Owned Enterprises , has the presence and capability to develop and nurture relationships with senior leaders from government authorities and large State Owned Companies in China.
？ 2.Proven experience of successfully helping companies in strategically positioning its business and growth in China
？ 3.Experienced and skilled with operating in large complex organizations.
？ 4.A fast learner and adaptive functional leader with quick grasp of different needs from various business units.
？ 5.Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent visual, written and multi-media communication skills in both English and Chinese.
？ 6.Prior experience in China Government Affairs and working with industry organizations to influence regulations. With resources in the field of energy and new energy preferred, and / or food, nutrition and health, including working experiences with related government agencies such as NDRC, NEA, AQSIQ, CFDA, and other related associations and stakeholders, etc.

The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval. At the time of the spin, employees will be moved to one of the three companies.
