I. POSITION PURPOSE:

The primary focus of this position is to continuously audit the agreed sourcing process and to ensure that gaps are highlighted and closed, providing weekly management summaries that are used for immediate employee and team feedback.

II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with agreed sourcing processes ? Regularity and quality of audits
? Highlight gaps and recommendations to close gaps and follow-up closure with related parties ? Quality and completeness of reports and regularity of follow-up
? Provide weekly management summaries ? Quality of management summaries
? Drive the improvement and amendment of processes where necessary ? Quality of process improvements



III FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of sourcing and internal audit processes.


IV BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

Good understanding of the business operations, especially how purchasing, quality and engineering functions interact in a product development and sourcing process, as well as overall knowledge of OEM manufacturing industries, preferred heavy equipments experience.


V LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

No supervisory responsibility, but will need to posses the ability to moderate and present audit results and follow-up closure.


VI PROBLEM SOLVING:

Problems in the areas of process compliance and process improvements.


VII NATURE OF IMPACT

The position is responsible for the detection and surfacing of gaps between agreed processes and their application, as well as to drive their closure.

The position has impact to internal departments: Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Logistics, IA


IX INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills for effective auditing and communication of non-compliances, as well as recommendations to eliminate gaps.


X QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

BA in Business, Engineering or related fields, with min. 5 years Purchasing and Internal Audit experience
Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and be self motivated to complete tasks
Fluency in English and Mandarin-both oral and written
Good understanding of sourcing processes
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS project
Project management experience
