5. Main tasks and activities:
- Achievement of sales targets and results
- Responsible co-operation on certain plans and decisions regarding the marketing concept
- Realization of the predefined (short-term, middle-term, long-term) sales targets of the representative
- Optimal communication and coordination to subordinates, superordinates and on the same level
- The agreed budget is on hand of the jobholder
- He is authorized to grant special prices and conditions after collusion with the Head of Department
- At any time it is possible to contact and if necessary convoke all stations of the company which are necessary for the sales success
- Analyzation of sales and market reports
- Preparation of yearly plan of sales and budgets for the responsible countries
- Analyzation of sales results and preparation of strategic decision making
- Market analyzation regarding the price competitive price trend
- Customer analyzation with the aim to permanent classification and systematic new customer acquisition
- Analyzation of alternative sales channels and latest trends
- Supervision of stock and the stock level reduce
- Participation in designing the collection
- Product development – initiation, supervision and commercial execution
- Collection and transfer of relevant information of customer talks / competition taks
- Collection and transfer of customer/staff ideas, development of own ideas regarding range design and implementation of new products
- Participation in formulating new work tasks
- Consulting on determination of list prices and design of delivery and payment terms (discounts, bonuses, fixing the value and special conditions)
- Preparation of sales reports
- Supervision of commission settlements for the responsible countries
- Participation in the development of strategic guide lines for advertising, sales promotion and corporate identity
- Preparation of proposals for special conditions for advertising, sales promotion etc.
- Coordination of advertising and sales promotion measures if there is no separate product management installed
- Planning, preparation and realization of customer visits / collection portfolio including preparation of trip reports
- Customer acquisition and market observation (store checks, reading of respective press and online publications
- Participation in preparation and realization of fairs, exhibitions and events etc.
- Participation in special customer events
- Preparation of offers and contract negotiations (upon consultation with the head of department)
- Maintenance of the customer file
- Dispatch of information material and qualification of customer contacts
- Maintenance of customer contacts with focus on end brands and knitting factories in England, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Benelux, Spain and Portugal taking the relative staff and representatives (via email, phone, fax and mail) into account
- Permanent forcing of new dealings and intervening in case of difficulties
- Consulting customers and / or staff members in case of special problems
- Support and supervision of the locations (BY Italy & ZYS) on order registration, delivery date monitoring, dispatch preparation and realization, and payment monitoring for the relative sales territory
- Supervision of the claim list
- Employee management in the relative companies / agencies
- Goal setting and regular control of the achievement of objectives for the own area of responsibility
- Cooperation with the heads of department
- Securing the introductory training for new employees
- Informing the staff members about all relating processes
- Controlling the incoming orders, backlog of orders, and comparison with the (periodic) requirements, implementation of eventually necessary measurement
- Supervision of the debitors and if necessary dunning processes
- Processing customer complaints
- Realization of target agreement discussion with the assigned representatives
- Fixing eventual conflicts
- Contact person of certifications; initiation and partially realization in co-operation with the factories
- Training and support of the colleagues of the Südwolle Group
6. Qualification:
6.1. Type and area of study: completed commercial education
6.2. Special training/authorisations: Textile knowledge (global and brand-focussed)
7. Work experience: at least 2 years in active sales
8. Competencies
(knowledge and abilities, skills, attitudes):
8.1. Knowledge:
8.1.1. Technical knowledge: Textile knowledge; Market knowledge; knowledge of competitors
8.1.2. Foreign language/s: very good English skills (oral and writing)
8.1.3. PC skills: good skills in INTEX, CRM, Excel
8.1.4. Driving license: yes
8.2. Skills, abilities, attitudes: indpendent and structured working; team-oriented; high degree of service-mindeness
