职位描述：
1. Production planning:
a. Manage the production planning process to deliver high levels of customer service (measured by on time delivery and quoted lead times)
b. Working in partnership with manufacturing management to reduce manufacturing cost whenever possible.
2. Material management:
a. Provide material forecasts to suppliers, place purchase orders and maintain good relationships with suppliers and the purchasing team.
b. Maintain and develop inventory management policies for every material to meet company inventory turns and obsolescence targets. For finished goods the SCM will propose balanced stocking policies to support the business with in its inventory budget.
c. Develop and maintain processes to ensure high standards of inventory accuracy in multiple locations in the AP region.
3. Warehouse management:
a. Mange safe and efficient warehouse operations at Milliken premises and in collaboration with 3PLs.
b. Control warehousing cost and develop initiatives to reduce the logistics cost to the business.
c. Coordinate with the Customer Service and Logistics team to meet the dispatch requirements of customers.
4. Sample Management and Shipment
a. Maintain high stock availability of samples for shipment on a same day service
b. Liaise with the design and marketing teams to ensure the correct samples are held for the business needs.
5. Customs and Trade Processes:
a. Milliken uses a number of export trade processes requiring accurate process management and compliance with Chinese policies and laws. The Supply Chain Manager will be expected to maintain these processes and have good relationships with the local government organisations and Milliken trade compliance team. 举报 分享
