JOB DIMENSIONS
The CRDC is equipped with the best polymer mechanical / rheological analysis equipment in order to provide support to Arkema customers, and to develop new products and new solutions.
The purpose of the job is to maintain these equipments, and to run them under the authority of the engineer in charge of the Polymer Mechanical / rheological Analysis team, then to participate establishing new methods of polymer analysis.
ACTIVITIES
-Ensure that the polymer mechanical / rheological analysis tools of CRDC are at all time operational and reliable.
-Run these equipments under the responsibility of the engineer in charge and with full compliance to safety requirements.
-Keep regularly experimental data records and ensure the reliability of this data
-Well organize different tasks at the same time and keep good sense of priority
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The equipment for polymer mechanical / rheological analysis in CRDC is new and up to date. They will be used on a daily basis by the polymer mechanical / rheological analysis team, in order to provide data to the development teams and to customers, and to test new products and solutions. This full operational status is very important for CRDC and has to be preserved at all time.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-BS in material, polymer science, chemistry
-Preferably experience in running polymer analysis equipment (Tensile, flexure, impact, MFI etc.)
-Innovation oriented, but at the same time RIGOROUS and PRECISE
-Willing to develop experimental skills, team spirit
-Well determined, and willing to stay in the area is a plus
-A good level of English is a plus
