Briefing of the business
Blue Cube is a wholly owned subsidiary of Olin Corporation, a world leader in producing and selling Epoxy and Chlorinated Organic Products. One of our plants is located in Zhangjiagang. The total population is 40~50 employees. As the HR specialist for ZJG site, the incumbent is in a HR Generalist role and needs to be hands on in daily operations and take on Business Partner responsibilities. In addition, the incumbent shall take certain tasks and projects beyond ZJG site and for China or APAC region.

Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities
 The ideal candidate would be someone who is already performing HR Operational duties at the current role preferably in a Chemical or Manufacturing space and would come with reasonable knowledge and decent experience. The main responsibilities include:
? Manage HR related process and procedure at ZJG site
? Recruitment/Selection: interview applicants, screen and refer applicants to hiring managers and make hiring recommendations when appropriate.
? Introduction & orientation: plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards organizational objectives and assure a smooth on-boarding process.
? C&B management: conduct leaves and attendance management to facilitate payroll administration.
? Training & development: training admin support, implement the agreed training and development programs on site to ensure continuous improvement of workforce competencies.
? Performance management & appraisal: manage the process, coach and provide training and consultation to managers and employees in daily management and periodic review.
? Employee relationship: facilitate in employee engagement and earn the trust of the employees and hence can help the organization in building a great work place.
? Industrial Relationship and industry HR Representative: dealing with local vendors and local authorities for HR related matters.
? Separation/Exit Interview/Full & Final Settlements when in need.
? Other HR projects/tasks allocated.

Candidate's profile
? Educated in bachelor degree level or equivalent qualifications
? Previously experienced in the role of HR Generalist or a very similar position and be able to demonstrate complete understanding of and competent for the position
? Solid understanding of employment related laws & regulations
? Good interpersonal abilities; ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible
? Good communication skills and capable in dealing with employees at different levels.
? Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment
? Experience in chemical or manufacturing sector would be an asset
? Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
? High degree of integrity and compliance, reliable, trustworthy, taking initiative and ownership 举报 分享
