Sales Engineer for Design and Build Gages

Edmunds Gages Suzhou located at Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), Jiangsu (www.EdmundsGages.com.cn) is looking for a sales engineer for design and build gages at our Suzhou office.

Edmunds Gages Suzhou is registered as a foreign investment company and a center of marketing, sales, manufacturing and services in China.

Requirements

• Must have at least three year work experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, or mechanical products sales
• Must understand engineering drawing and geometric dimensioning and tolerances
• English capability in reading and writing, and good in speaking, CET-4 or higher
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• Marketing experience is plus
• Thread metrology is plus
• Education: BS or MS in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
• Prefer an understanding how to measure geometric tolerances of mechanical parts with electronic gages and air gages

Job description

• Markets products and understands competitive advantages of our products
• Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
• Understands customer's needs and requirements and find a solution for a customer
• Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements Demonstrates products, generate quotations, proposals, bidding documents, purchase contracts to customers
• Works with customers to close sales
• Presents products in a seminar or conference
• Finds suppliers for outsource products
• Conducts a product installation, training and services
• Develops representatives
• 50% work time to travel
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
