JOB DIMENSIONS
As a central service unit in the R&D center, the analysis department provides technical and development solution to all Business Units in Arkema China. An analysis engineer will work closely with other R&D/Analysis engineers in missions as analytical methods development, technical service and study on competitor’s products.
ACTIVITIES
*Develop analytical methods for functional additives, coating, performance material other products under the supervision of Analysis Group Leader;
*Ensure consistency and reliability of all analytical work, comply with best Quality practices
*Participate in technical service and product development activities in collaboration with R&D engineers from different Business Units;
*Supervise lab technician in day-to-day analytical work;
*Conduct work in compliance with Arkema safety rules;
*Prepare technical report and summarize results in presentation.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1.Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or organic chemistry. Oversea education experience is a plus.
2.Background knowledge in separation chemistry and spectroscopy with hands-on experience in HPLC, GC, IC, ICP-OES, mass spectroscopy.
3.Demonstrated capabilities in DOE, problem solving;
4.Self-motivated with good sense of job responsibilities;
5.Fluent in Chinese and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
