Work closely with AP Plants and AP Purchasing/SDE teams to facilitate the effectiveness of supplier development & qualification, to assure the supplier flawless new launch in Asia Pacific;

Lead and drive on Supplier Safe Launch Planning implementation & effectiveness across Asia Pacific;

Support on other supplier development or quality special or urgent issues across Asia Pacific.





Major Responsibilities:


· Fully understand GSQM - Supplier Development & Qualification and Safe Launch requirements, and able to introduce, train & guide AP Plants & suppliers to implement and comply with GSQM requirements.

· Lead Supplier Readiness Compliance Audit (SRCA) to designated suppliers/components for AP Key Projects, and drive on SRCA findings and systemic issues improvements.

· Monitor, support and improve on Supplier Development & Qualification process in VIN (Vendor Information Networking) System, full implementation & effectiveness across AP Plants;

· Lead on monthly Supplier New Launch Readiness Review for AP Key Projects;

· Train and coach TRW Supplier Development & Qualification and Safe Launch Planning process to AP Plant SQA teams;

· Participate in Supplier/Component Development & Qualification processes with AP Purchasing / SDE and Plant teams when necessary, such as New Supplier Selection, Component Priority Assessment, Supplier Design Review, Launch Readiness Audit, PPAP etc;

· Support and / or Lead AP Plants to solve or improve special or urgent supplier quality issues, and other special assignments of supplier quality related;

· Conduct TRW SQA Compliance Audit to AP Plants as the member of AP Central SQA team;

· Coordinate, support and / or work with Global SQA/SDE teams on global supplier development & qualification and safe launch issues.



Key Competencies:

· Strong Product & Manufacturing Process Knowledge of Mechanical, Plastics & Electronic Components etc.

· Fully understand TRW Global Supplier Quality Manual (GSQM) requirements, and fully understand Supplier Selection, Development & Qualification process.

· Understand and able to conduct Special Process Control & Audit, such as Heat Treatment, Coating, Plating, Welding, Anodizing etc.

· Familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC & MSA processes.

· Strong Problem solving skills, such as 8D, 3*5WHY, 6M Analysis, Lessons Learned... required.

· Strong Process Audit / VDA6.3 knowledge & experience.

· Necessary training & coaching experiences and skills are required.

· Strong leadership and management skills.

· Excellent team player, cross functional working experience and good communication skills.

· Good working attitude and ability to work under pressure.

· Proactive & positive thinking/working style.

· Fluent in English - Writing & Oral




Education and Experience:



Educational: Bachelor degree in process/product engineering, or manufacturing /
technical background



Experience: 1. Minimum 8 years working experience in manufacturing/engineering /quality

function in Automotive Industry;

2. Minimum 4 years supplier quality assurance working experience in Automotive

Industry, with supplier selection / development / qualification is plus;

3. Minimum 3 years International Automotive Industry working experience;

4. Regional management / support experience is required.
