Position Title : Regional OE [Operation Excellence] Manager
Working Location : WOFE China

Product Line : AP PL
Region Covered : Asia Pacific

Reporting Line:
Directly Reports to Position Title: Quality & BE Director AP
Functionally Reports to Position Title: Same as Above

Overall Purpose of Job
This should be a broad overview of this position's function. Include the overall scope of the position and the authority this position possesses in terms of programs/ projects/ operations and establishing policy.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Operation Excellence Roadmap implementation to achieve Measurable Outcomes in Business Operation System, Productivity, Quality improvement, Cost saving continuous improvement;
? Make a stepped improvement in the operations excellence in Asia Pacific region to ensure our competitive position is improved
? Reap financial and non-financial benefits from continuous improvement activities and workshops
? Provide a central resource and functional skill base necessary to support the many A-P improvement projects.
? Promote and deployment problem solving methodology at AP region.


Major Responsibilities
List the major responsibilities and accountabilities of this position. Include quantifiable data where appropriate (i.e. budget dollars, etc.)

? Achieve Asia Pacific's CIS income savings commitment and regional target for Working Capital, Capital improvement projects
? Lead other specific Functional project such as Material, inventory and logistic management project Operational improvement projects with good interface and execution at regional and site level



? Conduct cross-functional improvement program and workshop for significant improvement to stimulate change. Ensure AP and TRW global and regional initiatives are well-perpetuated through the plants through such program and workshop.
? Drive and track regional and site-specific business outcome and metrics that the plants are committed to deliver
? Share best practices, lessons learned, replication of successful projects throughout the region
? Support skill development in Lean (operational) and structured problem solving (six sigma) skill, standardization of practice, calibration of mindset
? Serve as "subject matter expert" so site LPO can utilize their knowledge and AP leadership can utilize them for target initiatives through out the year

Key Competencies
List the critical skills, abilities, and characteristics required to perform job responsibilities.
? 8-10 years of managerial or "change managemens" working experience,
? At least 3-5 years of lean operation and/or structured problem solving experience.
? Black Belt certified, Lean, Shainin certification preferred
? Working experience in Tier one international automotive suppliers preferred.
? Global thinker, understand and appreciates the culture differences
? Driver for results, manages change and gaining commitment
? Independent, resourceful and takes initiative.
? Effective communication skills and good presentation skill,
? Has regional experience and demonstrated success in this role
? Self-starter with the ability to work in a global/regional/cross functional team environment.

Education & Work Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or above

Language: Strong English skills

Experience:
? At least 8-10 years of lean operation and/or structured problem solving (six sigma) experience.
? Minimum 3-5 years manufacturing operation, production, quality, logistic, .. working experience in International Automotive industry;
? Strong Lean/ Kaizen continuous improvement capability;

? Strong problem solving capability with strong statistical methodology methods on 8D, DMAIC, 3X5WHY, DOE with six-sigma Black Belt, and or Master Black Belt,desired.
